How Nuqleus in the Back Office works
Nuqleus independently captures a staff member’s entire working day and record structured Process metrics (tasks) that describe the work being done.
As well as quantifying the volume and actual time taken per task in real-time, Nuqleus can instruct a staff member to ‘drill-down’ to qualify different aspects about the task.
It does this by building question based scripts that can be answered quickly on the task’s completion to capture the measures relevant to the operation at that time.
The Process metrics and the ‘drill-down’ questions are defined within the Nuqleus Design Console and are capable of unlimited levels of detail.
Nuqleus measures can be updated easily and quickly to offer a revised set of measures to be deployed for capture and analysis on a same day basis.
Agility and responsiveness are core strengths embedded within Nuqleus that enable management to make better, more informed decisions faster.
Included in Process based metrics are Processing tasks undertaken relative to
- Service Reasons and Outcomes,
- Product Types,
- Customer Requirements,
- Service Levels,
and similar variations designed to establish the WHAT and WHY of processing work that balance the HOW MANY and HOW LONG of processing work.
Nuqleus has the proven capability to improve the performance of back office operations through detailed measurement of processes and productivity...
- Process based measurement and analysis to understand workflows, throughput and Process variation
- Establishing process and people performance metrics based on Efficiency (working to standards), Productivity (work produced), and Utilisation (production per resource employed),
- Managing real Time apportionment and actual Cost apportionment from a detailed and relational perspective,
- Undertaking ongoing Activity Value Analysis (AVA) of all aspects of the operation,
- Utilising Nuqleus’ ‘drill-down’ capability to measure the potential and reality of your Process Improvement initiatives.
- Creation of accurate work "Standard Unit Times" that help "feed" financial management and capacity management systems
